UNDERCOATING

Blasting gets the underside clean. Undercoating is what keeps it that way. We run three coatings as standard and will source something else if a vehicle calls for it, which one you need depends on the condition of the metal, whether there is a finish worth seeing, and how the vehicle actually gets driven.

Dinitrol 4941 black wax undercoating applied to a vehicle underside
Dinitrol 4941 Black Wax
Wax-based · black · ~5 years
Our standard coating for trucks and SUVs, and for classic cars where we are coating the frame, axles, and crossmembers rather than the whole underside. Free touch ups included.
Dinitrol clear wax undercoating over factory finish
Dinitrol Clear Wax
Wax-based · Clear · ~5 years
Same protection and lifespan as the black, but clear, so the factory finish stays visible underneath. We use it on vehicles with minor to no rust. Free touch ups included.
Industrial ceramic coating applied to a vehicle underside
Industrial Ceramic
Ceramic · Clear · ~15 years
Our premium option. High heat resistant and hydrophobic, so it goes almost everywhere on the vehicle rather than just the underside. Clear, which means it suits new and newer vehicles where there is a finish worth showing.

Those year figures are what we expect under normal use, not a guarantee. Mileage, climate, road salt, and whether the vehicle lives outside all change how long a coating holds up which is why touch-ups are included on both wax coatings.
