No water and no media left in the cavity means tooling and machined surfaces go back into service without a drying or verification step for trapped residue. It's a poor fit for wet, heavy grease on the shop floor — that needs a mechanical first pass — and improper pressure near composite surfaces or wiring bundles can do real damage, so parameters get tested on a small area first, every time.
Clean tooling isn't the goal. Tooling your inspectors can actually sign off on is.
